To force a regeneration cycle, hold the "REGENERATE" button down for three (3) seconds.

I love my Waterboss 900. With no prior plumbing or water softener experience I installed it myself using their easy to follow instructions.

Sometimes when I've forgotten to put salt in the chamber I am left with untreated water and have to wait for the Waterboss to run a regeneration cycle again. 

Today I learned how to manually start the regeneration cycle.

  1. Add salt if needed
  2. Wait 2 hours
  3. Press the "REGENERATE" button and hold for 3 seconds

A regeneration cycle will then begin.

To access the button panel you will need to lift off the cover.
