Being self-centered is not bad.

It's very strange that calling someone "self-centered" is a bad thing. Very rarely do we complement somebody by calling them self-centered.

So you might wonder why this is.

We need to be self centered. Being self centered is the best way to be. Our selves is all we have as individuals and all we have to give. Our selves is all we have to offer.

But still it remains that calling someone "self-centered" is an insult.

That's wrong.

Be self-centered. Think about yourself. Care about yourself. If you don't care about yourself, you will have nothing to give to others.
