As a TYPO3 user who used to struggle with TYPO3, "The I hate TYPO3 list" is definitely understandable.

The site has the greeting, "Welcome to the "I hate typo3 list", please be free to express all your hate to this useless and punny CMS..."

"Punny CMS", eh? Well I beg to differ...

Here's some sentiment:

It sucks big time!!! TYPO3 is used by people who is afraid of hardcore PHP.. it´s for dumbs please stay away from typo3 it will make you dumb.

I'll be the first to tell you that I like TYPO3 because I don't have to hack PHP just to add basic functionality to my web site. I'm not afraid of hardcore PHP, but for simple tasks (and some non-simple tasks) I'd much rather use some typoscript as it is easier to maintain than writing a plugin, module, or extension in hardcore PHP.

Also, I think PHP is a great programming language, but typoscript is a better configuration language.
