If you regularly sell items on eBay or elsewhere, you know how important product pictures are. I've used a piece of posterboard as a backdrop to get some pretty good shots, but there are always a few problems with that. Mainly reflections that are not noticed until later, and inconsistent lighting and shadows.

A lightbox is a great option for photographing small items on eBay. You put your item in the box which is completely white inside, and has lights inside of it, and then all of your photos are consistent with good lighting.

Amazon sells a really nice portable lightbox for this purpose. It's called the AmazonBasics Portable Photo Studio. It's got a really nice size of 25" x 30" x 25", but here's the deal, it's collapsable. You can fold it up and put it out of the way when it's not in use. And when it's ready to be used, it's got the lights built right in to it and it's an environment that gives you controlled lighting for a lot of purposes.

the lighting is also balanced for great color rendering with 5600K daylight LEDs.

Have a look at the video to see the unboxing, review, and see some demo shots to see if you'd be interested in this portable lightbox from AmazonBasics.
