Well, I just finished day four of going without caffeine or coffee. Day four seems like it was the worst for me, at least in terms of body pain. I mentioned last time how caffeine withdrawal seems to cause this strange but intense body pain that starts in the lower back area, goes through the buttocks, and then into the legs and down through the calves. It doesn't feel like regular pain from working out. It feels almost like it stings, or like nerve pain of some sort. It's pretty bad. And it makes it difficult to sleep, or to sit down, or to even stand or do anything. But I do think that movement makes the pain a lot more bearable.

I decided to mow the lawn today. And that kind of made it feel better, just because I moved around a lot. And then later in the evening, since sitting down was uncomfortable and I didn't want to sleep because I probably couldn't sleep with all the pain, I just decided to take a walk. And I think the walk made the pain go away for a bit. But now I'm back home and I'm ready to go to bed.

The body pain is the worst it's been since I ceased caffeine intake, and I hope this is the peak of the body pain. I hope it goes away starting tomorrow. I will be happy if it does. But as far as headaches today, I had almost no headaches. Nothing bad enough to mention at least.

I don't know what tomorrow will bring. I hope the body pain isn't that bad. Mentally I feel pretty good. It's only hard to think because of the body pain I have. But otherwise, I feel like my thinking is pretty clear. I feel pretty calm aside from my anxiety about this pain and my continuously wondering when it will go away. Well, I've got some sleepy time tea to drink and then I'm going to bed.
