Intel's new smart glasses are called Vaunt and they don't look geeky.
They're light (about 50g) and they're designed to display information to one eye.
These devices are a prototype project that need to be fitted to a wearer's eyes to make sure that the image is displayed properly.
It's "basically a heads up display" that is non-intrusive.
It uses a technology called "retinal projection". An image is literally projected to the back of the eye. Kind of weird and apparently it's completely safe.
