About the lowest price I've seen on a decent laptop with a Full HD screen is this Acer for $349.99 from Amazon.

I'm in the market for a new laptop and I don't need super high specs. But I do need a full HD screen. Full HD screens haven't become the norm yet as I see plenty laptop still being sold with HD screens. The added pixels gives a great amount of clarity and offers the opportunity to view more on the screen of a Full HD screen.

Very few laptops with Full HD screens are available under $500 so I was surprised to find this Acer laptop with a FHD screen for only $349.99 on Amazon. Not bad. It has an i3 with 4 GB of RAM. That would be fine for me or for most folks who mainly use nothing more than a web browser in their day to day computing.
