Today's just not a good day for me and VMware products. After finding a need to document how to uninstall vmware converter, I now find myself having to figure out how to uninstall Vmware Player.

And I found out how.

Vmware Player, it turns out, just doesn't work well with Debian Wheezy at this time. Problems were encountered when compiling the kernel modules before first use. No big deal. I can use Virtualbox instead (maybe).

Anyway, here's how you go about uninstalling Vmware Player...

/usr/bin/vmware-installer -u vmware-player

Run that with root privileges and then you'll be asked if you want to keep your configuration files. I chose not to. After that, the uninstallation of VMware Player will commence.

I think I'm going to take a break from installing vmware's products today because it hasn't been going to well for me.
