I thought it was pretty interesting to see that the Dollar Tree now sells LED Light bulbs. LED light bulbs were pretty expensive a while back and it's neat to see that they're now available for a dollar. 

These could be available due to some kind of subsidization program. I don't know though, I didn't see anything that said so.

The bulbs I saw were 40 watt equivalent with a 6 watt draw. These were 3000K bright white bulbs manufactured by greenlite. Brightness is 450 lumens.

Oh, and these bulbs are dimmable.
