I've been thinking a lot about self image today and how I think our self images contribute tremendously to how we behave and think (is thinking a behavior?).

If you thought different about yourself, drastically different about yourself, wouldn't you behave drastically different than you currently do?

Self-image is generally persistent throughout a person's life. But self image can also be inaccurate, or be poor.

Would a self image that is inaccurate but favorable about oneself be better in some ways than a self image that is accurate but which is poor?

It seems that there's ways to strengthen self image in children. Maybe there are ways to strengthen self image in adults.
