Selecting "Always Load Images From the Internet" will make sure that images load in the emails you read with Evolution.

Today I found myself wanting to convert a timestamp to a normal date. It was a timestamp from my TYPO3 database, indicating the time that one of the database's records was created. 

I just put that timestamp into the form at epochconverter.com and pressed a button, and I had a nice human readable date that made sense to me.
