The only thing is, I'm not planning on mounting this directly to the wall. I want to be able to use my monitor either sitting down standing up. So that means that there has to be a pretty large degree of height variation. I'll probably mount the monitor mount to something else that can be raised up and down.
This project might involve some angle iron or some plumbing parts.
