I just heard a radio commercial for "the silver lungs generator", some kind of device that produces colloidal silver and lets a user breathe it into their lungs.
I actually heard of this product while listening to the Alex Jones show, a show that I don't listen to often, but a show that I thought had opinions that reject ideas like this "silver lungs" device. Alex Jones actually did the voice for the commercial.
What is concerning to me is that heavy metals can be detrimental to your health, silver is a heavy metal, and there is Alex Jones selling a device that promotes the inhalation of silver into the lungs.
On one hand, I hear opinions on the Alex Jones show which seem very much against the inclusion of flouride in municipal water supplies, and then I hear Alex Jones pushing a product that helps people breathe in heavy metals.
I have yet to find any conclusive scientific evidence that agrees with the claims of the colloidal silver salesmen and advocates.
Please people, don't ingest silver even if an internet sales page tells you it will cure every problem from acne to X-Linked Agammaglobulinemia.
Look at your periodic table of elements: Alkali metals and transition metals.
Where is the "heavy metal" class? Rhetorical question - it's not there.
Now, read right from Wiki: "The term heavy metal has been called a misinterpretation in an IUPAC technical report due to the contradictory definitions and its lack of a coherent scientific basis."
Next, have you looked on the back of your multi-vitamin?
- Copper
- Iron
- Calcium
- Magnesium
- Manganese
- Chromium
- Vanadium
- Nickel
- Zinc
All of these (nutritional for survival) metals can be loosely termed as heavy metals. Every one of these metals unit-per-unit is (more toxic than silver) yet you take these daily with no hesitation and in (much) higher doses than 1 teaspoon of 10-20 PPM of ionic/colloidal silver.
Again, it is sad that people with no scientific understanding or background make posts like this. Silver is so misunderstood from people jumping-the-gun and "assembling science" around their needs or agenda.
If you are in fact well-meaning and feel as though you have done someone a favor by deterring them from silver supplementation, you have been misinformed.
Again, to call silver a "heavy metal" is a scientific misnomer and simply false. All metals are toxic to some degree but it needs to be recognized that silver is essentially one of (the) least toxic of all metals.
Relevant, (toxic) "heavy" metals (notice the quotes) are fluoride, lithium, mercury, aluminum, etc. This is why Alex is against Fluoride but not a non-toxic (transition metal) such as silver.
I think your post should be removed as it simply misinforms the undiscerning reader looking for valid information. Your post supports no countering argument or science whatsoever and you (yourself) are missing the potential benefits of silver for a myriad of applications.

Quoting the back of a vitamin bottle is not a scientific claim.
Maybe I should just put this here: http://casereports.bmj.com/content/2009/bcr.08.2008.0606.full
or this:
http://www.quackwatch.com/01QuackeryRelatedTopics/PhonyAds/silverad.html
or point out the fact that the silver lungs website points to no actual proof or scientific journals whatsoever. It does not even link to wikipedia.
Please don't ask someone to recant their statement based on valid concerns saying they have no scientific backing, while providing no scientific resources yourself. You're selling snake oil, pure and simple. I don't blame Alex Jones because I don't know who would want to advertise with him seeing as his audience is predominately people who wouldn't buy anything without a conspiracy price tag.
I just want to point out how the very article you link first to, to prove your so called "point", is the same thing everybody and anybody who has ever researched silver finds first. At which point they learn is an isolated scenario, that proves NOTHING other than how to improperley utilize/ingest/consume silver.
Hey everybody it's the blue man!! Will sombody tell "theBAnk" to stop believing the first thing they read and triangulate (look it up) all the sources on silver.
SUck it theBank and all banks... your ruining the world for everyone else. Let's just all chill, burn another one down and be friends. Sharing is caring
Peace 1 Time
